Dan Zedan

Dan built NFF around personal relationships, industry knowledge, and consistent communication. His monthly letters offered a familiar connection with customers, suppliers, and industry friends.

Over more than 40 years in the pecan industry, including as a corporate officer of Navarro Pecan Company, Dan became a leading voice for data-driven decisions and better industry grades and standards. He held leadership roles with the National Pecan Shellers Association, which honored him with its Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dan's wife, Judith, has been his cornerstone. A proud father of five and grandfather of many, Dan keeps family values at the heart of everything he does. As Senior Advisor, Dan remains part of NFF's next chapter.

Lalo

Lalo brings a grower's perspective, an entrepreneurial approach, and hands-on sales experience in international tree nut trading to NFF. Before farming and brokering, he worked in management consulting at BCG and McKinsey and in investing and restructuring at Clarion Partners, which gives his work a structured, analytical approach. His industry expertise began in pecans, where he has worked for more than 15 years, and continues to expand across specialty nut and dried fruit categories.

He speaks regularly at industry associations and conferences.

His focus is strengthening relationships and developing opportunities for buyers and suppliers.

Lalo and his wife, Mariana, have three boys and three dogs, and the family loves the outdoors. Family comes first for Lalo, and family values are at the core of how NFF does business. The respect, loyalty, and care he brings home are the same he brings to every grower, buyer, and partner.
